This is a presentation for one incredible woman. Now you will ask who is she and what she has done? Marie
Curie became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the first person - man or
woman - to win the award twice. Actually, she’s the only woman who won the
award twice and the only person who won a Nobel Prize in two different
sciences. She was also the first woman to become a professor at the University
of Paris. You can learn more if you click the links below.

Poland- Ella
I got the chance to travel to Poland for a exchange project and I had a very good time. We visited a lot of different places and saw many things.
I came along with my host and we got more close than in Sweden, especially when we were alone walking home or sitting in her kitchen drinking strawberry creme tea. Her family were so kind and took great care of me!
We did work almost everyday in school if you compare the visit in Sweden. I liked that we took a few hours everyday because in Sweden you got very tired after working the whole day. But when they gave us 2 hours on an assignment that took less than one hour, you pretty much just sat there and did nothing.
Overall I had a great time and I made many new fiends that I miss truly! I also became friends with people from Sweden that I did not talk so much with before and that was really nice.

Quotes
We watched a ted talk video and talked further about a few quotes from the show. This is what we said. The text in pink was the question and in red was our answers!
a)
Robinson says “If you think of it, children starting school this year will be retiring in 2065. Nobody has a clue - despite all the expertise that´s been on the parade for the past four years´ time. And yet we´re meant to be educating them for it. “ How can education prepare children for the future?

Robinson says “If you think of it, children starting school this year will be retiring in 2065. Nobody has a clue - despite all the expertise that´s been on the parade for the past four years´ time. And yet we´re meant to be educating them for it. “ How can education prepare children for the future?
More creative, knowledge about the future, help working on their intelligence (Pl)
Life is unexpected, maybe education helps with preparing (Bl)
Preparing them for learning everything, basic about every subject. Expanding their knowledge about it an innovating (Sp)
Preparation for the adult life (Pl)
Preparing for the future, but not everything, in Sweden there is like cooking class but not in Poland for example. (pl)
b)
Robinson says “My contention is that creativity now is as important in education as literacy, and we should treat it with the same status.” Do you agree? Why? Why not?
It’s important but not that important, not everyone likes math and not everyone likes to dance. (pl)
Many time society tell us what to do rather than letting us use our own ideas. It’s often you complain when you have a problem instead of using your creative side. Without creative it would be no innovation. (bl)
Creativity is the key of innovation And we like new things coming up, so yes, it should be as important as literacy (sp)
I think it is good to have a creative part in your education because it maybe it can help with your concentration and help you more in life, like solving a problem or coming up with an idea (Sw)
Agree, not so much as education, but even if we got problem in the future life, with jobs for example, we can use our creativity to make our on business. (pl)
c)
Robinson argues that “if you´re not prepared to be wrong, you´ll never come up with anything original”. Can you illustrate Robinson´s opinion with an example?
We just don't have to be afraid to be wrong. This is something normal and at this way we learn from our mistakes and get smarter, better and we have more experience...you just can't succeed if you don't try new things and if you are not prepared for the fail because not everything in life is perfect but we must continue trying despite our mistakes
d)
According to Robinson “the whole purpose of public education throughout the world is to produce university professors.” Do you agree? What should the purpose of public education be?
Maybe they learn us to think, but only in one point of view...we just don't use our creativity and our qualities to make our own decisions and to solve our problems...what is more we mainly use like only two types of learning-writing and reading but it is really important to learn also visual, kinesthetic and auditory
e)
Robinson says that “Suddenly, degrees aren´t worth anything. Isn´t that true? When I was a student, if you had a degree, you had a job. If you didn´t had a job it´s because you didn´t want one…… But now kids with degrees are often heading home to carry on playing video games, because you need an MA where the previous job required a BA and now you need a PhD for the other.” Is this important nowadays?
These days university degree is so important so that you can find a well-paid job, but in the history there are so many famous people who invented incredible things and they even didn't have a university degree so this is an example that you can succeed even without degree. But it is important to study in university because only a few people can succeed and never been in university. These days employers need to have a degree if they want to work.

Padlet- make a prediction of the future
In my opinion people in the future will live healthier than we do. They will kick the bad habits and learn to be more careful about what they eat. School will serve fresh and delicious lunches and what is more kids will help for preparation of the food and work in canteen. Kids will start doing sport more often and school will support the active lifestyle. Finally if countries and governments stop produce junk food and fizzy drinks, it would be easier for people to start a healthier lifestyle
Here you can express your opinion and read a lot of interesting facts and opinions.

Letter to the European Union
Letter to the UE
As teenagers who are studying, we think about the future, specially our own future, that's why we've made a list with the things we expect in the future for our kinds or next generations.
Counting hat we are not the only thing that will change, we have also thinked about how technology could be used.
First of all we will use computers/tablets, so then we may be using electronic books, wich the only weight they own is the weight of the electronic device we would use, and it would also reduce paper use. But althoigh we use computers , we would aso like that litercy be trated the same as creativity. Using social media could allow them learn new lenguages faster, meanwhile making new friends from all the whole world.
About teachers, each one would have usefull tips for each student. And we'd like an internet plataform where teachers could record themselves while they are teaching, so you could watch that lessin in a specific or in case you were ill.
As many technology going on our lives, and beeing exposed to suffer eye, mental or many other illneses in cause, we won't spend much time outdoors, so we will need a subject that makes us conect with the outdoor world, we have thinked about this ; a subject called hiking, wich would consist on going hiking on the local or country most important mountains, so this way the future children would breath fresh air, so sport and learn about nature.
Nowdays kids do not eat healthy, so if it were possible, we'd like free, fresh and healthy food avaible on our cateens. We'd call them the FFH cateens.
We hope that almost one of our thoughts is going to get real.

Travelling-it leaves you speechless, then turns you into storyteller.
MY UNFORGETTABLE
EXPERIENCE IN POLAND
I spent one unforgettable week in Poland and finally
when I have time to reflect on it I can say that it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. If you are hesitating about participating in this
project my advice is to try and I am sure you will not be disappointed.
My adventure started early in the morning on 11th
of March. Actually I had never flown by plane before and if I have to be honest
I was really scared at first but fortunately the flight was great and we did
not have any problems. We even met the Spanish group in Frankfurt. All were so
nice and we got on well with each other and I am really happy that we
communicate even after the project ended
When we arrived in Bydgoszcz my partner was waiting
for me with her mother. They were so nice and made me feel so comfortable and
actually they became my family during this week. I had been chatting with my
partner the weeks before the project but
it is always different in person but I am really happy that we became good
friends.
My first impressions of the city was the beautiful city
centre. I just fell in love with the architecture of all buildings. They were
all old and made in gothic style, which in my opinion made them stunning. While
in Stara Zagora you almost can not see old buildings due to the fact that the
city was burned in 18th century.
We had a tour in the city and I had the opportunity to
try some of their traditional meals and we also saw some of their most
important cultural monuments and buildings.
We all were
really grateful to the Polish teacher-
Renata for the perfect organization and the variety of activities every day.
For me the most interesting places we visited were the Ecological centre
and the trip to Torun.
The ecological centre was in the suburbs of the town.
There we had a group work and then we had the opportunity to work with
microscopes. Finally it was time to play a game called geocashing. We were divided
into 5 groups and our task was to find boxes, hidden in the forest. We used a
special app which showed us the right way and we had special clues to help us.
The boxes were really well hidden but our team was really good and we managed
to find 7 boxes. I really like the fact that we were in the nature far away
from the hustle and bustle of the city. Then we had a bonfire just like in the
movies. We were sitting around the fire, holding our sausages and potatoes and
talking and laughing. Such a great memory.
Travelling has the power to change you and to let you
get to know yourself better, because coming back to where you started is not
the same as never leaving. For example I learnt that when I am mad and nervous
I usually do reckless, hasty decisions and I regret for them. So my advice is
when we have to make a decision we always have to be calm and judicious. And I
also learnt that it is really important for one team to have a leader, but his
task is not to control the people but to help them with the work, to organize
the task and to make a plan for working.
This travelling really helped me to overcome my
language barrier. I became more confident and I learnt how to communicate with
different people. It was really interesting because there were people from
Poland, Spain and Sweden. All were
really friendly and despite the fact some of them were shy in the beginning we
became friends. What is more every person had a different point of view and
working in groups helped us to understand the others better and to learn to
accept the differences between each other
In the last evening we had a “goodbye party”. We
played bowling and we had a special hall, rented for us. There we all danced and
sang together and had a lot of fun. Finally we made many groups photos so that
we can not forget this experience. In the end all were sad because of the end
of our journey. Some students even cried but how I love to say…Things
end. But memories last forever! So now I am looking forward to new adventures and For
March 2019, when our partners will come in Bulgaria!`
